The University of Minnesota's College of Human Ecology hosts an annual fashion show to showcase the work of its sophmore, junior and senior design students. The U hires me to provide the portfolio and live performance shoots, documenting the energy and effort these students, faculty and their supporters put out. This year's production featured 37 designers and nearly 100 models. I set up two shooting stations side-by-side, one with me and the other with fellow shooter Mike Wybierala, to capture the 360 images the students required for their portfolios within the five hours the faculty allotted me before the fashion show began. During the hour-long show, Mike and I shot from two angles to capture the runway action. Check out the slide show at right to see some highlights of the portfolio and the peformance shoots.
